Full CCTV Footage Shows Moments Before Air India 171 Crashed After Takeoff
An aircraft operated by Air India reportedly crashed into a residential area in Ahmedabad, India, on Thursday, June 12, 2025. The tragic incident occurred shortly after the plane began to lose altitude following takeoff.

CCTV footage captured the critical moments as the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner failed to gain proper lift and gradually descended before crashing into a neighborhood just outside the airport premises.
Prior to the crash, the pilot was reported to have sent out a mayday emergency signal. However, there was no further communication received from the aircraft after the distress call was made.
